Jolanta Mychajlyszyn, PA-C

 Jolanta Mychajlyszyn, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant of Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island and is on the staff of Island Eye Surgicenter on Long Island, New York, as well as many of our local hospitals where she assists OCLI surgeons. Island Eye Surgicenter is a three-operating room facility with 35 attending physicians, who perform nearly 10,000 procedures annually. Ms. Mychajlyszyn graduated from the prestigious Physician Assistant Program at the Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens in 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University and was recognized for her skills with a Clinical Excellence Award throughout her years within the program. In August of 1998, Jolanta joined OCLI as a Physician Assistant and has been a part of the practice ever since. Since joining OCLI, Ms. Mychajlyszyn has been actively involved in the surgical care of OCLI patients. She is a regular assistant of the OCLI physicians both at Island Eye and in the hospitals, and has gained an enormous amount of experience working with the OCLI surgeons. In any given week, she will be involved assisting on plastics, retina and glaucoma cases, and is a valuable member of these surgical teams.

Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, OCLI, consists of 25 doctors representing most specialties of ophthalmology in 9 locations throughout Long Island; in Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, East Setauket, Manhasset, East Meadow, Port Jefferson, Inwood and Mineola.
